This Privacy Policy explains how Nudge Lens ("the Extension"), developed and operated by Nudge Nest Collective, handles information when you use the Extension. This policy is intended to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA, Canada), Ontario privacy law, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and applicable United States federal privacy requirements.

When you use Nudge Lens on ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) or Google Gemini (gemini.google.com), the Extension reads the text content of AI-generated responses displayed on those pages. This reading is performed locally within your browser for the sole purpose of computing an epistemic risk score. This text is never copied, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

Nudge Lens stores two user-preference settings using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync:
These settings contain no personal information. They are synced across your Chrome profile using Google's Chrome sync infrastructure, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not access, read, or transmit these settings.
